What This Status Means

Your case has been approved by USCIS. The specific next steps depend on the type of application. For I-485, this means you are now a lawful permanent resident. For I-140, this means your petition has been approved. For I-765, your EAD card will be produced and mailed.

What You Should Do

1. Wait for your approval notice (I-797) and any cards to arrive by mail
2. For I-485: your green card will be mailed to you within a few weeks
3. For I-765: your EAD card will be produced and mailed separately
4. For I-140: proceed with I-485 filing when your priority date is current
5. For N-400: an oath ceremony will be scheduled
6. Update your records and inform your employer as needed
