What This Status Means

USCIS has scheduled an in-person interview for your case at a local field office. An interview notice will be mailed to you with the date, time, and location. Interviews are common for I-485 adjustment of status and N-400 naturalization applications.

What You Should Do

1. Watch your mail for the interview notice (Form I-797C) with date, time, and location
2. Arrive early with all required original documents
3. Bring your government-issued photo ID and any USCIS notices
4. Review your application before the interview — the officer will ask about the information you submitted
5. If you cannot attend, contact USCIS to reschedule as soon as possible
6. If applicable, bring your spouse to a marriage-based interview
